A carefree grasshopper from Disney’s 1934 Silly Symphony short *The Grasshopper and the Ants*, adapted from Aesop’s fable *The Ant and the Grasshopper*. He has a light, jaunty, singsong voice with a breezy cadence and playful confidence, but it can soften into shivering desperation before turning warmly cheerful again when he accepts the ants’ help.
